We would like to invite you to join us on Tuesday, October 11, at the East Tennessee History Center located at 601 S. Gay St. in downtown Knoxville for a kick-off event to introduce the PlanET process to the public and showcase how it will be used to create a positive impact in our community. The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Our future begins with your stories...

The kick-off event will include guest speakers from participating communities, including community members sharing stories of their individual experiences and visions for our region.

Visitors to the kick-off will also be treated to an open house demonstration of the innovative techniques and tools PlanET will be using to gather public input during the project’s upcoming community forums.

We hope you will mark your calendar and make plans to attend this event and be a part of the leadership that will bring the project closer to its goal of creating a future for East Tennessee that benefits all of its residents.
